The Everything IoT StarUp 2016

Today more than ever the success of startups, corporates and investors lies in the ability to collaborate and complement each other. Everything IoT is committed to bring these groups together and to this end introduced the Startup Showcase. During all Everything IoT’s forums and Summits, the Startup Showcase provides IoT startups with a platform to pitch and demo their products and solutions to a broad range of investors, corporations, government representatives and potential users.

Last year’s showcase during the Everything IoT Summit was a huge success with 10 innovative IoT startups presenting their products and solutions to an audience of people and organisations dedicated to shaping the future of IoT in Australia. The “Startup Innovation Alley” - A dedicated area where up to 20 Australian IoT startups will have the opportunity to demo their products and solutions and answer questions in person.

Startup Pitches – There will be plenty of time for the startups to demo and explain their innovative solutions to the audience. Spark the audience’s curiosity, get them to vote and select the top 10 startups to be pitching to the entire Everything IoT Summit 2016 audience, including investors, corporations, government representatives and potential users!

The Everything IoT HackLAB 2016

The Safety Compass presents vital information on present dangers straight to the worker's phone, avoiding the necessity of bulky safety manuals to locate and manage risk. Every year around 2 million people become new wheelchair users around the world. As the wheelchair is a sedentary device users decondition rapidly, resulting in high rates of obesity and poor heart health. In addition users are prone to immobilising shoulder injuries, and pressure sores that result in hospitalisation. Learning and maintaining correct propulsion technique and mastering wheelchair skills is vital to health and independence.

We have wrapped a clinical device for propulsion analysis inside a consumer health and fitness wearable and designed it for people who use wheelchairs.
