SMART CITIES FORUM 2016

“Unlocking Australia’s Smart Cities Potential”
BLUE CHILLI, SYDNEY
12 May 2016

ABOUT THE FORUM
Connecting cities, its residents and businesses to a range of IoT opportunities is identified as one of the key areas of Australia’s IoT potential, yet Australia is lagging behind many nations in the application of IoT to both smart homes and smart cities (Communications Alliance, 2015).

The Smart Cities Forum provides an in-depth examination of the role of ICT and the internet to address modern urban challenges. We will explore the transition from a smart campus to smart cities to a smart nation. Keynote speakers and panellists – experts from Australia and overseas – will share their insights on the current and future strategies in advancing the state of smart cities in Australia.
